the lakes (surf the turf)
Tom, Jamie, Rhys and Joe came to surf the turf (a sick little centre in the lakes) for the opening of the boarder x track. They were in the lakes on Tuesday the 28th but because of average English weather couldn’t start riding until Wednesday. On Wednesday and Thursday we were all just riding then chilling then riding some more and tom and Jamie showed off to the crowds.
Then on Friday we were just riding some more until about 5 or 6 o’clock then we lit the bbq and had something to eat. Most people left at about 7 then the regular boarders were there until about 10 having a late jib/freestyle/messing around session.When it got dark the crew and a couple of regulars stayed the night we were up till about 2 in the morning chatting and drawing on newspaper and even though it rained all night we still had an epic time.
